Sep 30, 2008 12:57 PM is alternative energy really going ot work out? can we be sure that later on in life with all of the polution we have that it will not become another fossil fuel? what do you thnk? better or worse? Jun 06, 2007 08:20 AM Addicting, this freedom we all enjoy. You get used to it and you may end up alone, some warn. Despite the disadvantages of being single, however, some of us simply like the elegance of solitary living. It's not as if we're completely alone. If we feel like breaking bread with someone, we just call our favorite person. If we feel like traveling to Nepal and go mountain trekking, you know instinctively who the perfect travel companion would be. There's a lot to be said for being a perpetu... Dec 13, 2006 07:13 PM That's the essence of this beautiful thing called love. It flickers at first and then bursts into a flame, uniting two people regardless of color, religion, race or social standing. Have you ever heard of the word exogamy? Wikipedia defines it as marrying outside of one's social group. It's a prevalent practice and Americans are probably one of the most tolerant people when it comes to inter-racial marriages. It isn't uncommon for an American to live happily ever after with a Chinese wom... Dec 13, 2006 07:11 PM Some have so called "regular" nine-to-five jobs and there are others with no jobs. Then there are those that have temporary jobs, otherwise known as being a temp. When I was fresh out of school, a temp job was the only job I could find because people just weren't hiring full time employees at the time. In the current job market, there are many advantages of being a temp and many people choose that over a career as a full time employee. So what are the many pros and cons of being a temp? Dec 08, 2006 03:33 PM According to Wikipedia, between 8 to 15% of the adult population is left-handed. You may have heard the term southpaw which is used frequently in baseball and boxing. I've heard many arguments that left-handed people have a disadvantage in this right-handed world but there are a lot of famous and successful left-handers. So what are the pros of being left-handed and what are the cons? Dec 08, 2006 08:45 AM For nine months, they are a part of us. We feel every movement, every kick and every hiccup. It's during this time that our bond begins. We enjoy our maternity leave at home preparing for our new arrival, and then it hits us. Do I really want to go back to work after the baby is born? What's best for me? What's best for the baby? What's best for the family? Most mothers struggle with these questions and the answers are never easy. Should you be a stay-at-home mom? Dec 08, 2006 05:39 AM It's a typical Wednesday afternoon. You make you normal trip to the mailbox and among the junk mail and bills you find an invitation to your high school reunion. You momentarily flash back to high school and cringe. You haven't managed to sustain one friendship from high school and wonder why you would even consider going. But, it was a long time ago-it could be fun. The RSVP deadline is a mere week away. To accept or to decline-that is the question? Dec 08, 2006 05:02 AM Are you into escapism? Do you spend hours in front of Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMO RPG) like World of Warcraft, Everquest, or Second Life? There are literally millions of people online at this very minute playing MMO RPG games. People from all over the world play virtual role playing games including folks from China, Japan, Korea and Australia. Do you sell your virtual assets on eBay? Do more people know you by your virtual identity than by your real name? You might be a... Dec 06, 2006 04:40 PM Friendship is built on trust. The strongest friendships can withstand the test of both time and distance, outlast many romantic relationships and act as a grounding force in our lives. Is it ever OK to lie to a friend? Now, I'm not talking about the "yes, I just LOVE your new haircut" or "hands-down your son is the best player on the field" type of lie. No no. I mean the "I saw your husband kissing another woman", "No, I didn't break off the affair even though I swore that I did", "I think...
