Sometimes I listen to talk radio to hear what people are angry about. Yesterday, I heard this guy say that the answer was more guns and more mental hospitals. That if we had more guns, that this guy at Virginia Tech would not have killed so many people. I also read on the bradycampaign website that in 2004, nearly 8 people age 19 and under were killed each day by a firearm in the US. And that firearms are the second-leading cause of death (after motor vehicle accidents) for young peole 19 and under in the US. Guns and cars. Very American indeed. Hmmm... BTW, for the wise guy that's going to post about pros and cons of how to best control the gun while shooting it, spare us.

maybe guns are destroying our country but what about people with a disadvantage? What if a man was attacking a woman and she was not as string? Guns are protection for those who need it.
