I am a sophomore in high school (16). I have a boyfriend, we've been going out for about two months. I just don't feel the same spark we first had though. And I feel like we've both lost interest. Also, I like this other guy in my english class more, and I've liked him on and off for almost two years now. The thing is, I don't know if he likes me. Irregardless, I think I am going to dump my current boyfriend. I decided to make a list of pros and cons for each guy to give me some clarity. And now I'm opening it up to a broader spectrum so I can get some more insight. I'll call my current boyfriend "Boy A" and the other guy I like "Boy B"

p.s.- non helpful/rude comments are not needed. I'm 16, I don't need even more people telling me how to live my life.
BOY A:
PROS:
-smart
-funny
-tall
-plays drums
-gentleman (always pays on dates, holds door open, etc.)
CONS:
-tries too hard to impress me
-bad kisser-
-hair too long (almost to his shoulders)
-very socially awkward
-shy
-has strange friends
-never initiates dates (I always have to ask)
-not as attractive as other guy
RATIO OF PROS:CONS= 6:8 > 3:4
BOY B:
PROS:
-cute
-on swim and water polo team
-insightful
-funny
-nice
-same religion as me
-has stubble (which I like, ha)
-plays guitar
-athletic
-strong
-muscular
-wears clothes that fit nice (aka not really baggy pants/oversized shirts)
CONS:
-not as smart as BOY A
-a bit immature
-has strange friends
RATIO: 12:3 > 4:1

| If you don't like the guy break up with him before you get in too deep. It's better to tell him the truth than let him live a lie. Besides, if the spark is gone for both of you it'll be a sigh of relief for him. As for the other guy, a poster in my english class tells me 'you miss 100% of the shots you don't take'. |
