Smart Gun Owner
All of you are so uneducated on guns and that is why you fear them. Plus do you really think that if they took away our right to bear arms that people would stop killing each other. Do you think the criminals would give up their guns? I know I want to have the right to protect my children from harm. I have taught my children about guns. They know that they are not toys, and should never be touch with out a parent present. We shouldn't get rid of our guns and our protection. We should educate our children more about them. Even if you are not a gun owner or don't believe in them. You should still teach your kids. Kids are curious, if you take that curiousity away from them then they wouldn't want to just play with them and hurt themselves. Guns don't kill pepole, stupid pepole kill people. And do you think even if we got ride of all the guns in the world, that the death rate would go down? No it would not. People would just fine other things to use to do it. So stop hating guns, and get EDUCATED!!!

If the law-abiding citizens don't have guns, only the criminals would. Guns don't kill people, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE!!! If gangs didn't have guns, they would have knives which in the hands of a murderous person YES can kill somebody. In the Dark Ages, more people died than they did today. But they didn't have guns, they had swords and they would just kill random people.

Gun Control
I was raised in a home with several hunting rifles, shotguns and 2 hand guns. My brothers and I were taught NOT to get near the guns until we were old enough to learn gun/hunting safety and know how to handle them. Kids today are NOT taught and their curiosity gets the best of them. For the older "kids" with guns, for some it becomes a status symbol. I'm all for guns but I believe they should be MUCH harder to obtain. My Dad says "they'll get my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hands". 'nuff said.
